Please read carefully.
All terms are per week (Saturday to Saturday) for the property. Bookings are from 4pm on day of arrival to 9am on day of departure. Upon departure you are obliged to leave everything in a clean and tidy condition with all furniture in its original position.
Booking confirmation:
A deposit of 25% of the rental money is required on booking, payable by
credit/debit card. The deposit is non-returnable in the event of later
cancellation. Once the deposit is received, written confirmation of the
booking will be emailed to you with a note of the balance due.
Payment of Balance:
The balance is due on arrival. This should be by credit/debit card.
Cheques not accepted.
Housekeeping/Damages Deposit:
A refundable deposit of £100 will be taken at the time of paying
your balance. Guests are requested to leave the property in the clean
and tidy state that they found it, in which case the deposit will be
refunded within a period of 5 days from the end of your stay. If the
premises are left untidy and dirty, or there has been damage caused,
then all or part of the deposit will be withheld accordingly.
Cancellation:
Notification of cancellation should be made by email to
esmmoss1@btinternet.com or telephone to 01967-431271 at the earliest
opportunity. Your original deposit is non-refundable.
Short Term Lets Licence No. HI-40310-F
Further to the new requirement by Scottish Government for all holiday
property to comply with their regulations and obtain a Short Term Lets
Licence in order to operate, please be assured that Hillside
Accommodation is now fully compliant with this and has been granted a
licence.
Availability:
Should either The Chalet or The Owlery not be available due to
circumstances beyond our control (for example fire, theft or damage)
alternative accommodation cannot be guaranteed, in which case all monies
will be returned to you in full. You will have no claim against us.
Pets:
Well behaved, house trained, pets are allowed but should be kept under
strict control. Dogs should be kept on a lead at all times, please, and
not permitted to free range in the garden due to the presence of deer
and other wildlife roaming in the grounds. At no time are pets to be
left unattended in the property. The owner's dog run can be made
available during the day, if required. Guests are also requested to keep
pets out of the bedrooms and off the furniture.
Please also ensure that all dog poops are scooped and disposed of
responsibly.
Damage:
Any breakages or damage to articles on the premises during your stay
should be notified to the owner immediately. Guests are respectfully
requested to pay for any significant breakages/damage, including any
damage to fabrics (reasonable wear and tear excepted). If you should
find any faults, i.e. light bulbs not working, again, please notify the
owner as soon as possible.
Cleaning:
Every effort is made to ensure that guests have a comfortable and clean
environment in which to enjoy their stay. You are respectfully asked to
return the chalet and immediate surrounds in a clean and tidy state.
Access:
Guests shall allow the owner entry to the property for all reasonable
purposes.
